Brad Higgins usually appears on the Overnighters radio program on Wednesday mornings at 1am.

Brad Higgins, 42, is the Chief Executive of UK media company, Racetech.

He is former Director of Programming of Attheraces, following a brief period as a freelance broadcast consultant.

A talented producer with a number of Royal Television Society awards to his name, Brad is responsible for the commercial evolution of the company which is currently owned by the Racecourse Association on behalf of Britain's 59 racecourses and, in addition to providing racing's integrity services and outside broadcast facilities, manages the operation of starting stalls and photo-finish in the UK.

The post has been created following a reprofiling of RaceTech's Board, a recommendation of the RCA commissioned report by analysts Deloitte and Touche into the future financial and commercial strategy of RaceTech, which has already this year seen the appointment of Tim Curtis as its Chairman.

Said Curtis, "Brad's considerable experience of commercial television gained both in Australia and with ITV companies in the UK, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the racing industry, will be key in helping us to maximise the potential of RaceTech and to expand the range of services it can provide.
"This appointment further strengthens the RaceTech board which we look forward to continuing to develop over the coming months."
